  • 2 pounds pork tenderloin (2 loins)
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp. dark sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, halved
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • salt & pepper

directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Line a roasting pan with foil. 2. Combine syrup, hoisin sauce, and soil. Set aside. 3. Rub tenderloins all over with cut garlic. Spread onions and garlic in center of roasting pan, with a tenderloin on each side (but not touching). Season pork lightly with salt & pepper. Bake 10 minutes. 4. Reduce oven temperature to 375 degrees. Baste pork with syrup mixture. Bake 20-25 minutes longer, basting halfway through. 5. Let pork rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
